Founder Frank Hornby invented the classic Meccano toy engineering system in 1907, and went on to add 00 guage toy trains to his repertoire in 1920. Bachmann

This well known European manufacturer is responsible for several iconic brand names in the world of model trains and collectibles, such as Branchline, Graham Farish, Liliput, and the Scenecraft range of buildings, figures and accessories. Their model trains are unsurpassed when it comes to detail and decoration.

Peco

Based in Devon, UK, Peco are producers of a broad range of model trains, track and accessories and publish the popular Railway Modeller magazine. They make sets, kits and individual items with a catalogue running to more than 2,300 products to feed the demands of the growing number of railway modelling hobbyists.

Dapol

Dating from the 1980s, Dapol is a model railway manufacturer based in Chirk, Wales, with a factory just over the border in England. The name is a play on the names of company founders, David and Pauline Boyle. Dapol are renowned particularly for their award-winning N guage locomotive and rolling stock.

Graham Farish

Graham Farish is a brand belonging to the Bachmann group that produces exclusively highly detailed and accurate ready-to-run British N Scale model train packs, steam and diesel locomotives, coaches, wagons, N-Gauge track and accessories.

Metcalfe

The Wills company was founded in 1978 making simple, effective plastic model railway scenic kits designed by well-known modeller Iain Rice. The company was eventually sold to Peco and produces authentic designs to represent vintage layouts from the 1930s and beyond.
